Original 24 x 19 cm pen and ink sketch on watercolour paper of The Hacienda on Whitworth Street.
I made this sketch from old photographs of the Hac in it’s hayday. I remember arriving with friends from school in Macclesfield in a landrover defender and queueing nervously hoping to get past the fierce looking bouncers. This sketch has been mounted in off white with a simple black frame.
