Original ink sketch on watercolour paper 7x5”. This sketch is mounted in off-white a simple black frame.
I first painted the view down Deansgate past the Atlas Bar in 2006. I have returned to this view many times, painting it three times and sketching it more than I can remember. This version was sketched during lockdown and it was unusual to see so little traffic queuing under the bridge and all the pubs closed.
